Our cleaning approach employs the hot water extraction technique, commonly referred to as “steam cleaning.” This method combines the gentle power of deep cleaning to flush and rinse the carpet, while our state-of-the-art truck-mounted equipment extracts 95 percent of the water. Our skilled team begins by applying a plant-based emulsifier to the carpet to pre-treat it, followed by the extraction of loosened dirt with water heated to 180 degrees. This comprehensive cleaning process ensures no residue is left behind.
The products we use are derived from organic ingredients such as citrus peel, lime extract, grapefruit seed extract, and natural enzymes. Certified by a third party, the products fulfill current green standards such as Green Seal or Designed for the Environment EPA logos. Many of our new customers are pleasantly surprised at the big difference in the look and feel of their carpets when we finish cleaning!
In order to maintain your carpet’s warranty, many carpet manufacturers require steam cleaning for their carpets once per year using the hot water extraction method. However, not just any “steam cleaner” will suffice – the cleaning company must hold an IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification) like Steam Green.
Use of optical brighteners found in some over-the-counter spot remover products may also void the warranty and even remove the carpets stain resistance qualities!
